I like the color contrasts in 2 and the gnarly trees and skies in 3 and 5.
Beautiful job as always. Your DOF in the first one is just awesome and I love the colors and textures in the second one. The last one though doesn't seem to be as sharp as the others although I like the tree silhouetted against the sky.

I love your shooting. Keep inspiring us to do better. They are all great shots, but I like 1, 2, and 4 the best. The contrasting colors and composition of 2 are really enticing one to view.
The winter sky full of ragged clouds adds so much o the scenes.
Nice photos all, especially one, three, and five.
I have several relatives in the Moab area. My great Uncle was George White. Are you familiar with that name and the ranch he once owned on the Co. River?
Always enjoy your posts, Jim. I am drawn to stormy, dramatic skies also but not quite as many opportunities here in the east. Do you ever use Vivid setting in pict control or more use of post processing for color control? Thx Pat
