Here is a recent capture from the Big Cypress Swamp Boardwalk in South Florida. Unfortunately it is heavily cropped due to distance and equipment constraints. This was hand held taken with Canon 7D and 100-400 L at 400mm

That's a nice eagle shot. Anyone who says they don't crop their eagle shots is either fibb'n or just not say'n. Those of us who shoot lots of eagles can recognize a crop. Again, very nice shot! Don't feel badly for cropping.

Thanks very much. Until I can afford a longer lens or get closer I guess i’ll Have to crop!
