Another excellent photo, or photos, since stacked.
Suggestion. A whole body shot before your closeup shots would allow one to understand where on the subject this is. You have verbal clues this time, but as you push the 'x' up, it will not be as clear.
And please, be careful. If you go too far you may by relocated to MICRO section and we will be forced to jump ship from macro😀

Bill, this is my Wolf Spider that I have used for several posted views. In the recent post, her fangs are covered with hairs however if you look closely you will see them. The image of the fangs above is a 4X view full frame image. Not cropped but sized for posting.

She is posed well. Looks to be alive. If you do this on bark, the irregularities allow you to fasten the feet to the bark. Then a tiny drop of clear fingernail polish holds foot. This I have done often. Kept carefully in a tight box will last some time for re-use. Bowling night for you. Keep um rollin'.

Well done again, excellent in fact.
Great lighting. Well done!
Outstanding detail in this shot. Loved it.

The white peaking through the background is the modeling clay that I used to stick the mounting pin into to hold her in place. My next challenge is to work on various background colors in the staged sessions.
Because light falls off so quickly, finding the proper distance between the subject and the background target is a challenge in itself however time and practice are both on my side now.
