Nice shots. Agree with you on the one with the shadow.
Just for fun, try that one in portrait mode with a crop. It might come out nice, but I agree that what really makes the shot (for me) is the contrast of the shadow. I would download and try, but a) on my iPad and not on my computer and b) I don’t mess with other people’s photos- unless requested to do so.

Well, which do you like better?
Me, I like the portrait one. Can really see more detail in the skater, and the shadow is even more isolated, and therefore more demanding of attention?
