Hi All, Getting slightly bored with no new photos to work on so thought I would share an older photo of my friends dogs that I took for her a couple of years ago. I had purchased some of the Topaz programs and really had no clue how to use them, but after messing around with this photo for a couple of days, this is what I came up with.
She was really happy with it and I had a lot of fun working with her dogs and trying out a little different editing style.
Really nice photo. How did you get all four to sit still long enough to do this?

Many thanks NMGal, Barb and I had previously taken obedience classes together, so she worked with all of her dogs a lot and they all had a pretty good "stay" I still had to be pretty quick though
as some of them got bored a lot quicker than the other ones

You're so welcome dancers, greatly appreciated
Four beautiful dogs in a beautiful setting, a photographer who knows what she's doing and fantastic processing equals a prize winner, Debbie! It's no wonder your friend is thrilled with this portrait.

Thanks so much Donna for your kind words ♥ I love taking photos of all kinds of pets, but working a full time job, I'm rather limited to time on the weekends and a lot of my time is spent at the obedience school, so I'm happy when my friends would like me to take some photos for them and it's always good practice for me. I think at the time of taking this she had 7 dogs total, a couple of them have passed since then, but we did make sure we took a lot of the older dogs, so she would have fond memories of those that have passed.
This is one of her husband with a stray they found in their barn, this is her husbands dog
(the Shelties are Barbs
) he really didn't want his picture taken but I loved this one. Didn't do a great job centering this, but that's where the practice comes in
Debbie, I bet Barb loves this one too.
Beautiful dogs! You did a great job!

I like it the way it is, not centered. Beautiful shot and what a lucky pup!

Many thanks sadela, my friend barb has always loved her Shelties, she also has a Springer Spaniel named Lindsey that is a bit on the wild side, but we all love her dearly ♥ All of her Shelties come from a wonderful breeder and are gorgeous dogs.
