My question is how do you know they don't have a chance unless they are allowed the opportunity to at least try? There are millions of people that grew up extremely poor, raised in single parent household, etc., that are some of the most successful people in the world. The doctor or scientist that may have found a cancer cure could have already been aborted because of people with your thought process.

The same could be said for those that use contraception or masturbate. Which is why some religions oppose those as well.

The sperm and egg are both alive, and by trapping them or distributing them somewhere where they will never meet you ensure that they will die. Life doesn't begin at conception. Life already exists before conception. A person doesn't immediately exist at conception. Whether a person exists at any time before birth can be argued but it sure doesn't at conception.
