Chilly & Windy on the North Yorkshire Moors, UK.

We drove out for lunch and came back over the moor roads. It was difficult to stand up with the strong wind blowing. The villages of Castleton and Danby can be seen in the distance.
The bus shelter hasn’t been used for years.....no buses on this route now!

A wonderful set Sylvia! I hope folks take the time to view in download. Our last trip to the UK gave us some time on the moors and we were both completely charmed.

NICE country Sylvia ! .......thanks for sharing
Great set, Sylvia! Wonderful clouds. I assume the splash of color on the sheep indicated that they had been counted and was not a fashion statement.
I can see James Herriot driving through there. Lovely pictures. The grasses show the wind.
This is a nice series of landscape scene, Sylvia I enjoyed seeing them all, especially in download. Excellent photos.
How beautiful, Sylvia! I can imagine the Bronte sisters walking there!

Very nice images as usual from you Sylvia. The 1st one is my favorite. I really like the colors and contrasts of the landscape and the dramatic look of the clouds and sky.

Hope your feeling and doing much better. I'm not on UHH as much as I used to be. Just don't have the time for it anymore. We all have other things to do as they say. And I too have been a "wee bit under the weather" as they say in southern US. But when I do, it's important for me to comment to those who supported me. These are all beautiful images. For me, a look at the countryside I've heard so much about from WWII vets. They all spoke of the beauty of England. My family legally immigrated from Scotland. I think Scotland is still part of the United Kingdom. So for me...I love your posts.
