one of my considerations for next summer is: Southwest Photography's Desert Thunder Tour - lightning, clouds and landscape in Southern Arizona. Have any of you ever done this tour and would be willing to share something of your experience?

I once did a lot of testing at the Army Proving Grounds at Yuma in the summer. Nice place but the 120 degree days were tough to take.
We spend every winter in Yuma. I guess what I am saying is to concider the heat factor.

That's a great idea, a lot better than a tornado tour, as far as I'm concerned.

My son and grandson did this tour last year. They loved it.
