Pictures were taken at my pond behind the house through a window on a Wimberly 200 tripod.
Camera=Nikon D850 with Tamron SP AF 150/600 F5-6.3 VCU SD AO11Nl,dimensions 8256x5504,cropped 1461x1292,1/27/2019,3:57:07 PM,1/640 sec at f/6.3.focal length 600mm,O EV,ISO 400,Aperture priority, RAW
#1 on the railing around pond--#2 next to squirrel feeder--#3 feeding in a crack for worms and corn
Hope this is not TMI
Pond and bird feeder have attracted 31 species including green heron, mocking bird, blue heron, wood ducks, kingfisher, and great egret.
I am lucky to have survived 88 yrs., helicopter crash, diabetes, and 2 strokes. I am still able to take photos, use Lightroom, print and enjoy photography as a hobby. New features in equipment and inspiration from similar experiences from 6 yrs. of following UGLY HEDGEHOG are the reason.

How lucky to be so close to a place that attracts so many wonderful birds! As BassmanBruce says, "Keep on clicking!" Your woodpecker photos are wonderful, not TMI at all!
