A few days ago I came across this abandoned RR bridge just outside of the little town of Snoqualmie, Wa. It's left over from the logging days of the old abandoned Weyerhaeuser Mill. Although it was a pretty day, my vision was of a gloomy black & white. I applied some local tonal adjustments and a mild coffee tone. Anyway, comments are welcome. Ken

Oh how I love that, excellent POV!

Nice take. Black & white make it.

Your vision was 20/20! Color would not have brought out the textures and tones that make this a great image.

I love this image. It looks like it could have come from a Stephen King movie.

Another railfan and modeler- I LOVE this one, what an excellent job you did, and the subject matter is right up my alley. Old railroad structures are one of my favorite subjects to find and capture - just snapshots though- nothing artistic as yours.

This is a beautiful image. It captures both the visual and the spirit of the location beautifully.

My wife and I lived in Issaquah, later in what is now Sammamish in the mid -late '90s. The BN branch down to Issaquah was abandoned while we lived there. Can you tell us a little more about this location? Is it near the railroad museum?
