Beautiful.
Can you drive a camper in there or is it jeep-only?
It depends upon the truck. If it's a true 4x4 with fair to good clearance and decent tires, doesn't have to be super knobbies or anything, you should have no trouble. I went in from the north, coming south from I-70. That road is a nothing burger until the very end and even then not too bad. Keep in mind I was driving a Toyota Rav4, 6cyl, with Michelin tires and had no problem. I don't think I ever had to shift into low 4x4. If you're coming from the south, there are two ways to get in there. I think the longer way is easy- that's the way I drove out. The other way said something about a creek crossing that can be more difficult if there has been wet weather. But I got the impression that I could that one, too, in the Rav4.
Hope this helps. I just slept in the back of the Rav. Not quite long enough but it was fine.
If I can help in any other way, please let me know. An amazing place and not many people. I saw no one else the two days I was there, but it was either early spring or late fall (don't know how to access the date on the raw images). Target rich environment. You'll love it!

Was it as cold as it appears?

Not very cold. Maybe around 45F? Just the blue hour light.
Warmed up quickly.

Thanks a million for the info. I'm in Kansas so I don't get there a lot. I drove from Moab to Zion last September. I can't wait to get back.
Absolutely beautiful. Great colors.
