A few days ago I came across this abandoned RR bridge just outside of the little town of Snoqualmie, Wa. It's left over from the logging days of the old abandoned Weyerhaeuser Mill. Although it was a pretty day, my vision was of a gloomy black & white. I applied some local tonal adjustments and a mild coffee tone. Anyway, comments are welcome. Ken

Hi, I too love model railroading. Where are you located? What scale do you work in? I am into N-scale. Not much to show for it yet, but I am getting there. You can pm me if you would like to.

I do like the gloomy effect you gave this image. I really like the subject matter also.

While I appreciate colour, B&W fits the mood of the photo, which to me was mildly depressing. I'm a rail fan, and seeing anything "railroad" left to deteriorate bugs me! Beautiful shot, well presented!
