I wandered lonely as a cloud....
I can't account for the allure this part of the world has for me, other than having Scottish ancestry. The imagery I have, is primarily what formed in my head from the Peter May books, so certainly a visual component, but probably largely the feeling of being there. Given the opportunity to go anywhere, this is as likely a place as any. Appreciate your sharing the photo.
Striking and beautiful. The contrast of black and white imagery at its finest.
Your mojo is back! Really nice, Graham!
Your usual great work Graham!!! Very glad to see that you are getting back into the saddle!

I find it appealing that the sky starts out dark at the top and lightens as you approach the horizon. I also like all the contrast. I notice that your whites are very nicely handled. They are very white; but no detail is lost.

Marvelous. I don't know how you continue to get such marvelous composition. The waves are perfect. I'm also looking at it and analyzing how you did it. I love the "black" photo in b&w.
I was sure I had seen this image
before...and lo and behold, I had! In this very thread!
I love it and am glad it came around again!
Many thoughts and best wishes,
Dave

Tack sharp from front to back, beautifully exposed, a hint of a cloud in the sky and a deep, rich, sky. Beautiful.
