Canvas prints are intended to be attached to a stretcher frame, which precludes the need for backing material.
I just buy canvas paper from Adorama or B&H Photo & use my Canon printer.

not real canvas? Fau canvas is not the same look and feel.
[quote=Soul Dr.]Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond to my inquiry about Easy Canvas Prints.
I will probably give them a try, since the email they sent me has 80% off on their supposedly regular prices.
No experience with ECP. However I’ve used Canvas on Demand for a few years. If you’re not happy with your results give them a try. They aren’t cheap however they regularly have offers of 65% off and I like the quality.

I have tried that too. But it just doesn't look the same as a real canvas print.

I just want to say thanks again for everyone's replies to my original question.
It was good to see some of the other places some of you have used too.
will
I have used CanvasPop and been pleased. They send you a digital proof, which is a plus. You can pay for additional services such as retouching. They have rolled prints or custom framing.
I was hoping to have Costco print some photos for me here in Rochester, but they said they don't print pictures. The closest Costco that does is in Cleveland!
I concur with CGProprints. They are of excellent quality, especially, their solid-faced canvas wrapped prints with mirrored edges and are a good price with discounts occasionally. Customer service is also prompt. The solid-faced canvas wrapped prints come ready to hang with hardware attached.
I use them alot. Always on sale. If anything damaged they will replace it...that happened once. I also use canvasdiscount .They also have really good prices. I used walmart once....never again....it was horrible.
Having seen something to the effect that Costco was closing their photo processing labs in an earlier UHH post, I put that question to my local Costco lab technician. "Yes," she confirmed, they will all be closing over the next five years, "unless they start making money!" Another "brick and mortar" based business being forced out by internet businesses. It's a damned shame. I used to have lots of places to get my stuff printed, places where I got to know the technician and could get really good work. Soon it'll only be a couple of big outfits and, even if they do good work, you'll never have the opportunity to work directly with the technician. Just like it's almost impossible to interact with a knowledgeable camera salesperson!
I have used Canvas on Demand quite a few times and their email today was 88% off. Example - 16x20 for $24.00 and includes free priority shipping. Use code NKPT50. Expires today. They have always done a nice job on my photos.
Just used them over Christmas for two 8x8 prints of my dogs. Canvas wrap on frame was fair quality as was image quality. One print was off centered and cut top of dog's head off! Probably will not use them again.
