It's a member of the wren family - I believe it's a Coupling Wrenched Metal Diver.
Okay... most all of you were in the ball park with the identification. It’s actually a rare and endangered… rarely seen outside of the Chapel Hill (NC) area… Yellow-crested 1964 Chevy Hawk.
It developed that way by... over the years... nesting among old car parts.
The truth is... last week... a friend... who used to work on my cars... and now does metal sculptures from old parts... gave me a gift. I thought this exercise would be fun.
