Lowlight for me is before the it gets light in the morning as there is less movement however depending on the subject, the end of day does the job too...Have fun.....
Thanks for getting us started, Jim, and especially for hosting!
The first set of images were all taken in the Outer Banks; I normally
get up around 4:30am and walk up to the beach and wait. Most times
I don't use a tripod, but for some of these, I had to. (I'm pretty good
without a tripod down to about 1/2 second, as long as I can brace
myself and hold my breath...lol)

Here are a few from last month, Christmas lights at Daniel Stow Botanical Gardens.
It was cold and rainy but still a very nice walk and fun!

I really enjoy the challenge of low light/night shots as it takes more thought than just snapping away in good light. These were taken a few nights ago.
Pg. 1 - Sue, these are all fantastic images! Well done.

Went out on porch to photo eclipse tonight....11 degrees F. Didn't stay out very long
Wind is still blowing ice and branches around...eerie kind of night, for sure! 11 pm-past my bed time!
I'm glad you took that one, Judy! I was going to venture out also, but
my wife's car needed gas, and by the time I got that taken care of,
I was an icicle, so I scrubbed the idea of going back out....lol.

Sure does, Bob. I'm jealous as the snow filtered out the moon
These are maybe too low light but it was quite an experience, around 6:00 - 6:15 AM in January
