Hello. I want to prepare myself for a trip to Greece. I have two P&S Sony ( HX80 and RX100). What kind of SD card you recommend? I have several SanDisk Ultra Plus (32GB and 64GB). Works slow. Is it the camera? Or schould I buy other SD cards? Thanks.

If your cards are the ones with a write-speed of 80 MB/s, I cannot imagine them being inadequate for your cameras.
For my Sony RX100III, and especially for my Sony a6000, I can often find bargains on this SanDisk card:
SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB SDXC UHS-I Memory Card (SDSDXXG-064G-GN4IN)
I've come to rely on them, simply because I often shoot 11 frames per second burst speeds (but, I doubt I really need cards this fast ~ I would think your SanDisk Ultra Plus cards would work equally well).

I have two of those cards you mentioned. I have noticed they are a little slow on my Sony JPEG only pocket camera. I blame the buffer. But, a faster Read/Write SD card could possibly alleviate your problem. I'm not bothered by it.
The manual will tell you what card to get that allows the camera to function at it's maximum speed. With my RX100(i), the card specifications aren't very high. Getting faster cards won't improve the camera, buy may improve the speed of transferring to computer.

SanDisk makes great memory cards. The issue is the speed of the specific card you are using. The Ultra Plus cards are their mid-line cards. Try a faster SanDisk card. The SanDisk Extreme or Extreme Pro cards are considerably faster. (You want a class 10 card that also has a U symbol with a 3 inside and a rating of 90mbs write speed or higher). You'll pay more than the Ultra cards, but the faster SD cards are easily worth the extra cost.

I own the HX90V and the RX100 II, I use a SanDIsk Extreme Pro 90MB/s 64 GB. No issues ever.

Funny, but yesterday someone posted a question about the HX80 and the RX100. You would have been the perfect person to answer.
Thank you, all, I appreciate your help and input. I ordered 2 Extreme Pro. And will bring a few of my older cards. Perhaps I am ready for the trip (although it is yet a month away).
Always used Sandisk and never have had any problems over many years.

The OP posted yesterday and today about those two cameras. Once about the cameras, later about SD cards.
Who is OP? I posted 2 days ago about the cameras, and yesterday about the SD cards for those cameras. And I received good advises.

Yes, you received good advice. If you create a post on a Sunday, it is seen for a short time. And seen again the next day. Monday. So, you are correct about the days you posted.
