Anyone who has every tried to get this shot knows just how difficult and technical it is... Tinker Bell has to climb up to the very top of Cinderella's Castle, up to a level of 189 Ft up, then with firework exploding all around, they are launched out a small window, and down a 700 ft Zip Line which ends at a hidden location on the east side and just past the Tomorrow Land Terrace... The total time of this flight ii about 25 seconds and the photographer may get only a total of 8 or 15 seconds to shoot ... WOW !!!
This photo is kind of special to us the because the CM in this specific shot is a long-time personal friend of ours, she is only 1 of 4 individuals who does this and yesterday marked her eleventh anniversary of fulfilling the roll as this Disney character...
My wife and I got this shot a few days ago as we visited M.K, on a night when the temperature was 44 Deg and the crowds were doing their usual 'jousting' for positions of where to stand and look, and making our task difficult as usual!!
We will be going back again during the next week with a new and maybe better strategy to redo and see if we can improve on what we have....... LOL🤗🤗
