There's a sense of two stronger stories mashed into one frame: one is a cozy home/Christmas card theme on the left. And there is an attractive winter wonderland scene on the right, with three snow-covered trees through which we glimpse the red barn (with barbed wire cloned out, or shot so it's excluded).
I would leave in the wire fence. It is the jarring note that imposes reality on a poetic scene.
