What happens when you don't adjust exposure to
compensate for all the white. Just a phone snap
though.

Not too shabby, thanks for sharing.
Very nice, I live in snow belt, so I'm enjoying this
Nice! I too, live in the D.C. area and wanted to grab a shot last night of the heavy snow falling in the light of the street lamps. Grabbed my camera and tripod and headed out the door. Checked to see the battery on my camera was dead. Lesson learned.

Could have been worst, you might have driven some distance and then find out. I have done this.
Where not getting much snow this year, keeps missing us. I don't mind a bit. Were usually measuring in feet by now and we haven't even got a foot, total, yet!
I love the composition of freshly shoveled path leading to the welcoming yellow door. Beautiful trees, interesting details in the red brick, chimney, clinging ivy. Exposure is easily adjusted in pp, or selectively lightened along the path and to each side of the door.
A Christmas card in the making.

Nice shot. The warm colors of the house contrast nicely with the snow. The path provides a nice leading line.
