Can anyone tell me if these are Blowfly. I know they aren't dragonflies but I hadn't heard of blowflies before someone told me thats what they are

Looks like a dragon fly to me.
Looks like a Familiar Bluet. I have a hard time with Familiar Bluet, Northern Bluet, Marsh Bluet and Stream Bluet. But I think it's one of those. :)

Sure look like Dragonflies..I don't think blowflies are this delicate...look them up on the internet..
Just looked on internet, definately not a blowfly, its a damselfly, thank you all for your help, should have thought about looking on the internet first Dugh!

Blowflies are more like a large housefly, These look more like Damselflies.
Dragonflies rest with wings outstretched from the body. Damselflies rest with wings against the body.
Definitely dragonflies, or damselflies. A blowfly looks like a really big, nasty housefly, and buzz real loud when they fly. They prefer rotted, smelly locations.
