Something that plays the Hi8 tapes, VHS-C, or mini dv. Also looking for the adapter for the VHS-C tapes. Message me with what you have and price. Thanks!
As I understand it you need an analog convertor. Their are many devices that do this. Cant recommend any brand at twos point. And their are a lot of services that will do this for you for a price. I dumped my hi8 camera when I moved and had much less room. Good luck.
Thanks Tom. Yes, this would work if you have the camcorder to hook up to it. The VHS-C adapter I could use and not need a camcorder for that type of tape.

Any interest in ALL these Canon (interchangeable) lenses - Camcorders?
ebay for adapter. Can still get them new and or used. I purchased a VC500 converter from Diamond for my VHS-C tapes and used it with an old VHS player or you can convert directly from a camera in most cases. (about $35) There are other brands as well. Used it for VHS-C and mini-DV. No experience with Hi8. You can see a youtube for the Diamond converter. Now there are others for 1/2 the price on ebay.
I have both a Sony Handycam Video Hi8 and a Sony Handycam Mini Dv that have been gathering dust for many years. Be glad to send them to you for free if you still have need for them.
