A photo before all of the "tats" Thanks
Looks like it kodachrome to me.
How are you scanning your slides?
I use an Epson Perfection 1200U photo flatbed scanner with a slide/ negative attachment. Best I can do on this old baby is 1200 dpi.

The DPI seems adequate. That should output an approx. 24MB file which is a good size.
I've been tole that I should get them scanned at 4000 dpi but just being an amateur and fooling around I don't know that I want to spend the time and money to do that. I don't know if you notice or not but the color shots I have posted of Victoria were taken an a better than average adjustable 126 format (cartridge) camera that I picked up in the late 60's when I worked for Argus camera repair in Dexter Michigan. One question is I have some 2 1/4 squarer color negatives (took them with my C330 when I still had it) that I have scanned on this scanner do you think 1500 dpi is good enough for those photos?
