Thank you for letting us know of this devoted and fine man.
What a great sacrifice, too, these airmen made to keep those boys safe.
My, what a wonderful man! I wish I knew Him personally.

He got his fly past today, a combination of U.S.A.F. & R.A.F. tacticals + some support craft.
The BBC ran an outside broadcast and delivered the breakfast show from the park with visiting representation from U.S.A.F. & R.A.F.
And the heroes were remembered. I hope it get a show in the U.S.
Here is a link to the BBC page but I don't know if you'll be able to view it over the pond.

Thank you for posting this. It is a fitting tribute do the very unusual and devoted man, as well as to the Airmen who sacrificed all.
