Erv, I didn't know about the stroke, but so glad it was minor and you are back on your feet. Wishing you a good recovery and many more good days ahead!
Good to see you back and posting again. I was just thinking of all the people I've met on UHH over the years. A lot of them have gone to that big lightroom in the sky, but glad your still with us. Just take care and pace yourself. Hope that Janny is doing well too. I bet you did some carving while you were away. Your pretty talented at that stuff. See ya, and take care now.

Great!!! Keep getting better. Are you able to do any carving again yet?
If it comes to problems walking too much you could take up bird, insect, flower or macro photography. Those can be done around the house and yard. My backyard has 7 seed feeders (some for one type of seed/bird food), 4 hummingbird feeders, 1 oriole feeder and 4 DIY birdbaths made from large pots and saucers Debra calls it my " Bird Smorgasbord and Spa".
In fact you could combine the carving and bird feeders/baths. I am sure birds appreciate fine craftsmanship and art. Esp if it has food for them.
Great to hear from you and take care, Erv!
Anxious to see what you post in the future, Erv. Get better quick.
