Congratulations on a well earned award, and recognition! You have to try a Cuban sandwich while you’re down there. If you’re planning on taking picture, and want some old traditional Cubans playing their favorite game, go to Dominoe Park on Calle Ocho (8th Street). It’s a tourist photo spot.

South Beach, eh? Be prepared for a culture shock....... If you want some great pictures of the Everglades, it's not too far away and you can rent an airboat. Just don't stick your hands in the water..... Watch some reruns of CSI Miami to get an idea of the bridges and roads that cross the mainland onto Miami Beach and the lay of the land. There are hundreds of photo ops for the art deco architecture in the SoBe area, not to mention the old cars. I always enjoyed my trips there when my daughter lived in Miami
