I was going through some old files and I came upon this one that I put aside for a rainy day. Well, it is a snowy day and so here it is. The autumn light was just beautiful on this day. The leaves were just beginning to turn yellow and the water was a clean clear blue. In another week the colors were probably perfect but oh well..The download is much better than the thumbnail. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful holiday season.

Great shot. looks like it was taken from the bridge over the Zion river. I have a very similar image.

Thank you, yes it was from the bridge back in the good old days when you could actually shoot from the bridge.

Why is it not now possible to photograph from the bridge?

Too many people getting hurt and the cars cannot pass so they really try and limit shooting from the bridge.

Workshops in Zion are no longer permitted to use tripods, that is how bad it has become

Love Zion, one of my favourite NPs along with Yosemite, fabulous shot, brings back many happy memories of my trips to the fabulous USA...Merry Christmas to all.
