420,000 Federal Employees are working without pay, and 380,000 are furloughed without pay while the government is shutdown. How do you think that they feel about not getting paid right before Christmas, with their kids expecting to find presents under their trees on Tuesday morning, but no money to buy those gifts?
Congress has gone home to their cozy homes filled with gifts and food until Thursday at 4 pm.
At that point they'll have 6 days and 8 hours to settle on a bill to reopen the government, before the new Congress is sworn in, and theyll have to start the negotiations all over again.

Last I heard the fences around prisons are to keep people in, not out.
OK genius, if we gave every inmate a pair of bolt cutters, cutting torch, full set of tools, shovels and ropes, told the guards they couldn’t shoot’em, and gave them full run of the yard for 24 hours, I’ll guarantee you in 24 hours all 2 million would be GONE!!! LOL
AND, they wouldn’t be out looking for work either, they’d be stealing, raping and pillaging!!!
