"Park roads, lookouts, trails, and open-air memorials will generally remain accessible to
visitors, but there will be no NPS-provided visitor services, including restrooms, trash
collection, facilities and roads maintenance (including plowing), and public information.
- As a general rule, if a facility or area is locked or secured during non-business hours
(buildings, gated parking lots, etc.) it should be locked or secured for the duration of the
shutdown.
- The NPS will not operate parks during the shutdown – no visitor services will be
provided. The NPS will not issue permits, conduct interpretive or educational programs,
collect trash, operate or provide restrooms, maintain roads or walkways (including
plowing and ice melting), or provide visitor information."

You do understand that Democrats do want border security, and are willing to pay for it. They just don't think a physical Wall is the most cost-efficient, effective way to achieve that.

While we are tossing around the idea of wall to keep the "illegals" out of "our" land . . .We should also be aware of WHO were the ORIGINAL "illegals". . .As I recall they had various names "Conquistadores!" And, "Pilgrims!" And, "49'ers!" And, the "US Cavalry!" etc etc. . .And, they STOLE the land; killed indiscriminately; and, "acquired" from the indigenous residents who had occupied the entire millions of square miles for thousands of years!!!

Who the devil "processed" the Pilgrims from the Mayflower????? As I recall they TOOK the offered "help and assistance" of the residents of Massachusetts; and, literally at GUNPOINT, took any and everything else they wanted! And, several hundred years later, established Ellis Island as a "legal processing point" for immigrants from the rest of the world!

Then why did Schumer, Pelosi, Obummer POS and Hillary openly advocate for a wall but when the time comes up to really do more than typical ass wipe lip service they fight it tooth and nail?
