And just when texting is determined to be a road hazard!

Of course, you could do like I did while delivering mail and sit on the passenger side while steering and operating pedals. Requires a bench seat and an automatic transmission. It's surprisingly easy to get used to.

A friend was stopped and ticketed two weeks ago due to taking photos out of his car windows while driving. Failure to properly control his vehicle. I told him a warning would have been nice but what he was doing was just as bad as texting and driving.

Hard to believe some of the things people do while driving but that’s another thread.

Ummm... a rifle?

Seriously, If you mean you, as the driver, wish to PHOTOGRAPH out the passenger window, then a bean bag on top of a short piece of 4x4 propped on top of the center console can stabilize a long lens. Opening the window may be necessary for your AF system to work properly.

Yep, been using gray foam tubular pipes for years. Just slit the foam down length wise and it fits right on the window glass. Cheap and effective.

How about a monopod between the seat and console. Depending on the vehicle you might fit a monopod that has feet on the bottom.

Piece of foam pipe insulation. Slips right over the edge of the window. Raise and lower it as needed. Put vehicle in park first.

How do you get rid of the glue? That's why I use the noodles.

Not all pipe insulation has glue. I use it on shelf edges where opened car doors might hit. It slips on and off with no issues.

How does that help you to shoot out the passenger window from the driver's seat?

Maybe I wasn’t clear with my question about a way to shoot out the passenger window. I’ll try again.
I’m driving thru a refuge....not allowed to get out of your car....by myself. I use a camera rest on my window but can’t hold the camera/lens steady while trying to shoot out the passenger window. Has anyone built an apparatus to use to rest the camera between the seats? I haven’t found one to buy....I appreciate your responses.

That’s what I’m thinking about......getting a wood crutch and sawing to correct height and wedging between seat. A good rubber top to rest the camera. My space between the seat is pretty narrow.
