I stated no expectations and have not supported either party with my statements. Check the thread...you blamed the downturn on a recession and I stated there were other contributing factors. Those factors are supported by many economists without regard to party affiliation. No interpretation is required.

No, Dave I did not say a recession nor did I even insinuate that. I said a market correction. I agree with you many factors need to be considered like the Fed threatening to raise rates. No President, no matter the party is immune to market fluctuations.

The market correction, according to experts, has most likely occurred and the fluctuations we are currently seeing are blamed on a possible recession, basically enhanced by trade wars, interest rates, cyclical turns, etc. I am not aware of any popular concessus that a "market correction" is to blame, but that does not make it so. Some even like to blame the power of Wall Street as a contributing factor.

If Trumpie had not taken so much credit for the rising markets, that I would not be blaming him for the falling markets. He can't have it both ways.

The fact is the President has very little to do with market fluctuations, at least directly (his idiotic trade wars are a small exception).

But if you choose to live my the markets, you must be willing to die by the markets as well.

I’m sorry, you completely misunderstood what I wrote.
The Federal Reserve raised their rates. The President did not. Why is the President being blamed, is the question.
