Google " wooden pallets" and include your city and state and see what comes up.
Tschmath thanks i been looking online but no luck yet
I just did a google search for our town and found several listings.
Try a search for "used wood pallets+your town". You might also check with trucking companies; they might tell you a good place to get used pallets.
--------------
Working with used pallets will not be all that easy. They are very heavy and roughly made. Taking them apart can also be unsafe; removing nails, splinters, etc. Depending on the design you plan to use, and your budget, you might be better off using sheets of plywood, or even fence railings. Take a trip to Lowes or Home Depot and check out the possibilities ... everything from wood panels to plastic panels.
You could make a clubhouse with about 13 2by4's for framing, and 4 or 5 sheets of plywood. Or you could get some free large cardboard boxes from appliance stores, and make something temporary, but less costly.
Good luck! I hope your kids enjoy whatever you come up with.
okay I will look into it once again and thanks for all the support

Speak to somebody at Home Depot. They often have disposable pallets that they are glad to get rid of. By the way, have you got all the necessary zoning clearances, building permits, insurances and other rubbish that is now needed to do anything?
caution on using pallets, they are made of Oak (very hard) and they are grade 3 and worse, I.E. lots of splinters.

If interested in "used pallets", you can find it here:

If there is any home building going on near you you may find used pallets at the building sites. Also look at the local brick distributors and the lumber yards. Many small factories have excess pallets. See if there is a small industial park near you and dirve up and down the streets. Unlike many years ago when one had to pay a deposit on the pallets most places consider them scrap and the are for free.
Also try Craigs list.

Here where I live there is a pallet factory and they pay $3 for any used pallet. It's a very common sight to see a pickup headed to town with pallets piled sky high on it.

Is that pallet plant still open over there at "IN HIDING" thought they had closed it down?
All most any factory or bussiness can provide you with them. But as one our mebers has said these pallets are heavy and often have nail, staples and broked planks on them, not to mention splters and rough wook.
I'd just go to a grocery store or some other place like that (maybe hardware place like Lowe's or Home Depot) and see if they have pallets you can have. Just don't tell them wha tyou intend to use them for, otherwise, they will want to sell you stuff rather than give the pallets.
Be aware that pallets often have screws and/or nails (as well as staples and splinters, etc) that will have to be dealt with to make the structure kid-friendly.
Lumber yards that carry shingles for roofing they be glad to be rid of them
