I love the color of the water in the photo with the feet. Very relaxing, wish I was there. Here are two of my "old" favorites taken with my film camera. Unfortunately, they are scans of the originals so you can see some banding on them. Still, I love them. Cheryl
Dunatic, my older brother lives in Kankakee..Very nice, honestly didn't think I'd say that about Kankakee, no offence!
:P
None Taken, I have family who lived in Kankakee all their life. I love the river, but sort of dangerous when it floods. I was young, should have never been this close to it. Almost got my car stuck and the water wasn't receeding. Things I've put myself through for a shot. I have a cool pix of a firetruck in that same flood, I'm gunna try to find. Originally, taken with my Zenza Bronica SqA camera. But, it looses something in the scanning process. Thanks for your comment. Cheryl
Dunatic....
Great sunups to click there. Get up early, real early and hurry
on over as those sunrises only last about 15 minutes...

Your photos are amazing. How do you get the panoramic photo? Is it a certain camera you use or do you crop it that way in Photoshop? Just wondering. Very nice photos. Thank you! Cheryl

Dunatic...THANX!
There are two ways. One is to crop via Photo Shop but my favourite is HP Image Zone where we can stitch photos together. I usually stitch only three, maybe four, not more.
Here is one of mine, it was taken in Myrtle beach, but my family always says that it reminds them of "Lion King".

Roadrunner,
I'm a big panorama fan and I think you do nice work in that format.
If you really like panoramas, check out this thread to see what others are shooting.

I was gonna tell him the same thing... You beat me...
Mike
Hey you two, Eric & Mike, that is one neat site. I read all of Eric's instructions and stuck my thumbs in my suspenders as the vast majority of your stuff I do. The suspenders part is that I am self taught and for once I put into practice what I should have :D
One I try now and then, depending on the lighting is to jot down my settings before stitching, making say, a ''saturation spectrum'' whereas the colours brighten a smidgin'. Only problem is often I can see the line betwee nthe pics.
Some really cool shots on your threads...thanx for the heads up...Jim
