I have made one mail order purchase from Unique Photo, and, based on this transaction, will do business with them again. They were the only source I found for an oddball Nikon lens hood. Price was very reasonable, and shipping from NJ to SC was reasonable and prompt.
The shows and services during the shows are wonderful. During the rest of the year I haven't been as impressed with their sales staff.

The store is about 20 minutes travel for me. I have never had any complaints and their expo is very well attended.
This year I took a course on photographing the moon, and signed up for a 2 hour one on one training program. Sales staff have always been very helpful and met my needs.
I agree, Larry!! Unique Photo is a superb brick & mortar store. I have purchased from them online and at the store. They also offer many courses.

They are up there with B&H and Adorama as an extremely good camera store. [Think there are 2 locations] Lots of classes and photo trips. There internet site is great and so are the staff. Bought Nikon 750 with 24-120 and Sirui monopod P424SR its a monster.

I believe Hoboken & Fairfield.
Bought a couple of used lenses online and some odds and ends at the store expos. Good prices, good service, no complaints.
This reaffirms how fortunate those of us with a brick and mortar photography store. We have a great one in Topeka. I can't imagine buying a camera or lens without trying it with my camera/lens. You also can get good advice.
I don't mind paying the taxes. It helps keep the store open and buying locally is so good for community vitality
Yes, Unique has been my "home" camera store for a couple of decades. Back then I believe they were located in Florham Park. A decade ago we moved to Indiana so I can only get to Unique when visiting family in Jersey, but I always make the effort --- it's worth it!
