Actually it is two images of the same leaf, taken one month apart.

WOW this is such a creative, engaging post! It's simplicity just makes it stand out. The technical is superb. It is the creativity of juxtaposing the two images that makes it outstanding. I feel this is wall hanging material with the tow images next to each other.
I am not a UHH talented photographer: yet, this jumps out at me.

Hang these at least 19 X 11 on your wall. the larger the better. I can't get over the simplicity and unique nature of these images.
Sorry for the rant, UHHer's!
I also apologize for my spelling, if not the best. It is 10:30 at night and I am enjoying a Lagavulin 16 year Single Malt Scotch. I am believing that some UHHer's like and appreciate the experience of this Islay Whiskey. Like is good!

Sue, love the time lap of the two photos. Glad that leaf stayed where it was to allow the captures and your ability/memory of the first one to match the second one.

Thanks for the very nice comment - glad you liked it. 16yo Scotch - not too shabby - I've tried, but have never developed a taste for it even though we bring home a bottle every time we go to Scotland - never that really old stuff though!

Thank you! I'm wondering if it will survive another month - that could make for another interesting shot if it does.

Very effective storytelling! I'm really impressed with the lighting too: sunny, blue skies vs. gray and cold. Great job, Sue.
