Thanks so much Donna. It was a pretty good year but the many places I surveyed from Carolina to Florida to Minnesota and some in between and my bug friends they agree with you. It seemed to be a down year in insect populations. Hoping that next year will yield some new species for me here in DE. Have a wonderful holiday season!

I agree about the lady dasher's portrait. The lack of distractions in the background really add to it.

Victor I really can’t thank you enough for the wonderful words. They are very encouraging. I wish you lived closer too. I left the guys I used to hunt with when I moved here to DE. I miss the entomological societies I belonged to back in PA. Even the Newark Ent. Society is another hour away. My dragon hunting partner lives in Gainesville, FL so I only meet up with him at 3-4 surveys a year around the country. If we have a survey out your way I’ll give you a shout. Again, thanks for the fine comment.
