Ah Grand Pa, you are a lucky man! A few solo shots may also be appropriate.

Once again I was selected to do my Granddaughter’s Pre-Dance Photos. Her criteria was low cost and I was cheap (free)! Please indulge a very proud Grandfather.

These are terrific!
And yes, Grandpa's are known for things like "free" and proud that she asked and you accepted her request too!
Is this a School dance?
Also, would you mind sharing your lighting diagram and equipment placement with us too?

Thanks

My setup was very simple. I used only one light, a 14 inch beauty dish with a white cloth diffuser over it attached to a Godox AD 200 wireless flash. My wife held it behind me about 2 ft over my head and aimed at the subjects at a 45 degree angle.
I had planned to use a more elaborate lighting setup but it was raining so hard I couldn’t get all my equipment out of my car. Turned out I didn’t need anything more anyway. Thanks for your comment and interest.

Cly, thanks for the reply and the equipment, location and your helper too!
The photos are really great!
I've looked them over several times and again outstanding!

Thanks again for your answer and I keep a list of diagrams, descriptions too!

The lighting was a little overexposed on the highlights. The pose and expression on her face was nice. Good job, grandpa.
