Nice shot, Bill! Watching these fellows hit our feeders always reminds me of naval aircraft slamming down on a carrier deck! They don't come in gently, lol!

They sure aren't gentle. I had no Blue Jays here for the first couple of years I was here. It was mostly the little birds, so I set up some perches from thin branches. When the Jays would come in they would break them. But I do love seeing them again.
On Long Island I was surrounded by very large oak trees and that meant lots of Blue Jays.
