Since the demise of many of the photography magazines I miss the "unbiased" camera tests and comparisons some of them offered. Does anyone know of a website that does an honest comparison of the various cameras. I am interested in not only comparing features but also actual values. Specifically, ISO related noise in Canon cameras. For example camera A has the same noise level at 3200 ISO as Camera B has at 5000. Thanks everyone.
DxOMark sensor database is what you want.
You can compare bodies by Color Depth (Portrait); Dynamic Range (Landscape) and Low-Light Iso (Sports). You can compare up to three cameras at a time. Click on View Comparison and then on the Measurements tab. The graphs will show you the performance for noise etc graphed against the ISO setting.
Note that Fuji is not represented in the Database.
They also have a lens database for comparing different lenses on different bodies and rating by Sharpness, Vignetting, Distortion etc.
