Hi
I'm Dave from Ct.
I'm retired and recently got interested in photography.I started out with a Nikon D5600 but decided I didn't want to go the change lenses route so I returned it and got a P900.I know IQ isn't the greatest but it works for me.I take mostly pictures of the birds at the feeder, some other wildlife, landscape and pictures of the grandkids.I've been lurking around here for about 3 months now reading a lot of the topics and looking at all the great photos posted here.I was wondering if anyone could ID this bird for me.I thought it was a young Bald eagle as there are Bald Eagles that frequent the area I was in but I cant find any pictures that look like it.Any ideas?
Thanks everyone
Osprey. If you click the download button when posting we can get a higher resolution photo thus making ID easier.

Welcome Dave, you got yourself an Osprey. A juvenile or adult eagle will be a bit larger than an Osprey. When you post pics you can click the store original button. People can get a better view of your shot and see your settings. It's a great way to get pointers from some really good photographers here. I do it on pretty much every shot I post. Gary
