This is very striking. The effect on the mountains is really nice. I've seen that before in pictures from that area. Is it a normal occurrence? And the contrasting colours adds to the interest of the image, I think.

Thanks, I have another photo taken from the same spot. It was before sunrise and has more of a moody feel to it. Like the other one, it is slightly better on the download view.
