Guess what, this is humor. And a merry and happy one to you to.

PETA has been a joke for years
Look at the bright side........all this PC nonsense makes it a whole lot easier to be old.

While I agree with many of the thoughts here, I can't believe you people don't have anything better to argue about.
Not arguing, just chewing the FAT.....
I had a lamp similar to the one in the video. Had a hell of time finding a replacement bulb for it. When I did it was expensive. Over 20 bucks just for the bulb. Got rid of the lamp.

I am a proud liberal and I take issue with social injustice wherever and whenever I see it. But on both sides of any discussion there are fringe elements that are so far to their own side of the argument that it is impossible to see the other side. Fanatics of any stripe are dangerous. I am liberal, but not a fanatic. And I use those old sayings just as any same individual would. Even PETA has members that can see both sides of the arguments but the fanatics shout most loudly. Predators, prey, bullies, victims; it takes all kinds to make a world.

True, but it is the leadership of PETA that are the fanatics. Many lower level members are oblivious to what their agenda is.
PETA lost all credibility for me when they took on the case of the monkey selfie. PETA does nothing for animals, by the way.
Lot's of retirees here. What else can we do?

The video posted on Twitter shows Hatch eating bacon, with a soundtrack that suggests the pleasure of dining on that pork favorite.

The thread accompanying the tweet shows his followers appreciated his response and taunted PETA for its posting.
As Breitbart News reported, PETA wants to end what it calls “speciesism,” or using animal names in sayings such as “beat a dead horse” or “take the bull by the horns.”
“Words matter, and as our understanding of social justice evolves, our language evolves along with it,” PETA posted on its Twitter account on Tuesday, comparing these saying to racist and homophobic language.
