Three lovely young ladies (sisters) that I photographed this afternoon
So adorable... and such radiant smiles :) love the wardrobe styling... You bonded extremely well with these delightful young ladies...
Superb creative direction on pose dynamics... especially on the second image... always a challenge having them work their hands in a pleasing aesthetic...
How to improve? Really nothing, albeit if the venue was deep enough a longer focal length on the second image may have compressed the elongation of arms on the near (center) talent... notice her folded hands appear much larger in relation to her head here as apposed to the top image in which she is at a further distance...
The only reason I notice this is from working with fashion illustrators who draw fashion models nine heads tall instead of the "classic" 7.5 heads in height... To this end fashion shooters are constantly vigilant to assure parody in body proportions... a.k.a. wider angle optics elongate and/or increase in size any body part closer to the optic... Thus the compelling reason you'll hear creative directors on set asking the talent to "push" their face(s) toward the lens... especially in portraiture... Hope this makes sense....
Thank you so much for sharing this delightful seasonal imagery... (and the set diagram!) btw, hoping you'll eventually do their senior portraits, shot their weddings and ultimately their children's images... what goes around comes around....
I really like these pictures, mostly because of the likable models.
Nicely done. Thomas902's comments are spot on.
Nicely done! My only issue would be the horizon. Could be just my eye but as a tilted appearance.
