Here is our boy Burleigh a Kelpie Labrador cross. The Kelpie part loves to play ball and the Labrador part loves food. He was six years old when we got from Labrador Rescue five years ago and although he is just starting to go a little gray around the muzzle he still has plenty of energy when it comes to chasing the ball. He also loves his squeaky toys and frequently entertains us with the different sounds that each toy makes.

Hi All,
I love my pets very much and love to do pet photography. I work a full time job and don't get a lot of practice time to practice my pet photography but thought I would share my gang with you and hope to see your pets too!
A little bit about my furry family:

Caiden is my 11 year old Tri-colored Aussie who introduced me to the wonderful world of dog obedience due to being a puppy with no "shut off valve" and my threatening to give him back to his breeder on a weekly basis I love him dearly, but man those were some rough puppy years.

Karma is my (10 year old-the end of Dec.) Blue Merle Aussie who is my smiley girl. She LOVES everyone, was a therapy dog for almost 4 years and can't get enough of being around people. We've done some competing, but that wasn't her cup of tea, she is happiest when she is with people.

And then we have Penny, our little throw away mixed Shitzu/Terrier. Someone dropped her at my bosses house, and she joined our family at 8 1/2 months old (we guesstimate) in heat, with nails that looked like they had never been cut, but whoever had her, lost out big time. She is a great little girl, who will be 5 on the 13th and she has numerous ribbons from various competitions that we both enjoy participating in.

I'm also including Sasha our cat, who we lost a couple of years ago due to a stroke, she had just turned 16, and we miss her a lot.

All they all have brought me enormous pleasure over the years.

Thanks for letting me share them with you, and I'll hope you'll share your's!

Our First Aussie, Dakota, was a very faithful tri who passed from cancer. We now have Noel, another Aussie born during Christmas. She is a lover of people and will go into therapy dog training in January

The first picture says it all about this adorable "fellow's" personality: intelligent, friendly, loves to have fun, protective, and loyal. A big black coat around a loving heart!

RickL, Aussie can be a real handful, but the love they give is amazing. I remember going to a nursing home to visit my sister-in-law and saw my first Aussie visiting the folks there. I told myself if I ever got an Aussie who enjoyed that type of work, that was going to be my mission, to bring joy to those who may have had to give up their pets do to having to be in those types of homes. When I got Karma, my Blue Merle, we tried doing obedience competitions, which she really didn't enjoy at all, and after realizing this was getting neither one of us anywhere, competitions came to a halt. But people, oh my gosh, she loves people and will give them the biggest smile you could imagine. We did therapy work at an assisted living home and a nursing home for around 4 years. She is almost 10 now and life had us move in a different direction, but we still go to events, and MS walks, anywhere I can get her out around people. They are wonderful dogs, people just need to be aware they are "very active" and do have a tendency to get into trouble if not keep busy. Please keep us posted on Noel's progress and photos, photos, photos

I have 6 dogs, 5 of whom are rescues. I also have 2 horses, rescued too.

The first one is Meg, my snow dog. She's a Caucasian Shepherd.

Next is Stella, pitbull mix. Rescued her from the middle of a busy road. She is now a certified therapy dog & we work out of a local hospital.

Luke is the old man of the pack. Dumped from owner to owner, some of whom were not so nice, I was his last stop. Lukey's a happy boy now.

Merry is a Haflinger. Will never see an auction ever again.

Last, dog of my heart, Pete. He was an amazing dog. He taught me a lot. Miss him to this day.

Nice picture of Meg. What a beautiful dog. We recently lost our Golden and it is tough to loose that special friend. They teach us so much. You are special too taking on so many rescue dogs an horses.
