My service dog Husker! Without him I would be limited with what I can do in big ways. He is always by my side waiting to help and making me smile! He is charming, sweet and very intelligent. My heart saddens knowing I'm saving money for the next SD I will need to replace him. He is not quite 5 years old but time has gone by so fast and continues to do so which leaves me with the reality that before I know it I will have to train another like him. It took him 2 years to earn his jacket to go out in public. However, he was ready long before that by helping me at home. His youthful eagerness being out in public and just being a happy labby made it hard until he was 2 to work outside the home. We had the most wonderful AKC trainer ever!! Husker is going to have a hard time watching another pup interact with me and if it means breaking his heart I am not going to do it until after he passes. He doesn't like the new German Shepard puppy next door or should I say he doesn't give him the time of day. Husker isn't ever aggressive but makes its clear he doesn't like it when I pay attention to the puppy. When we are out and about he is allowed to say hello to another puppy he is all too thrilled and loves the interaction, its very rare that this is allowed.. It will make life harder for me once I have to retire him but hopefully that will be at least 7 years from now. IDK it all depends on his health and I pray nothing pops up with him more so than he has already had to deal with. Anyhow, he is a ham always wanting to please! IF you have any critiques of this picture, lighting, clarity, DOF, anything, PLEASE pass them my way!!

No "technical" advice could ever supersede or improve your image of Husker. That picture is perfect as it magnificently exudes the feelings one has for the other, one the subject; the other, the beneficiary of that loving gaze. Couple of lucky blokes if you ask me.
