Spent this Thanksgiving and the weekend at Arches NP. Was amazed at how many people were there. Had to remove the people from the scene to get what had I pictured in my mind.

Great image, well done. I really like this one of the arch

Thank you all for the great comments.

Retired CPO & fergmark, thank you for the second set of eyes I didn’t even notice the blown out sky. Guess it was eye fatigue from editing. One of those couldn’t see the forest for the trees situation. I wish I would have bracketed the image at the time so I could have fixed the sky. I have tried to pull the highlights down in LR, but they are to far gone. It is a learning process that will hopefully make me better.

Ched49, as I hike through the NP, I always think to myself. What did the first people to see these locations think to themselves when they see them for the first time? Where they as mesmerized as I am each time I see these landscapes?

Nalu. I think I will try one and include a person to add some perspective. Thank you for the suggestion.

Thank you all for the great comments. br br Reti... (show quote)

I could suggest a little gentle cloning for those patches. Even at 40% or so from adjacent area would eliminate the white. Again, its a really nice shot
