A discussion on another page brought back a memory. My wife and I had the grandchildren over and we were enjoying our pizza feast when our grandson, to rename nameless, piped up and asked, "Grammy, what did pizza taste like when it only came in black and white?"

That reminds me of a similar, actual comment. When I was a kid, I watching TV at a friend's house. It was a western, shot out in the desolate western countryside. One of the kids in the room said something like, "I bet that whole area is all built up now, with malls and apartments." : )

I used to remark that before Kodak invented color, everything was shades of grey. Now we live in a brightly colored world. Even Rembrandt can thank Kodak for allowing his paintings to be in color. Back in the day(late forties and early fifties)black and white TV was king. When color started(only people with GAS bought into it), it was surreal and sometimes a ghastly representation of the world. I only bring this up because; I was watch 50 Shades of Grey. It was in color. How messed up is that?
