Even though I belong to the minimalist photography group on Facebook, I often struggle with what is actually minimalist or not. To me the photo fits what I refer to as the 'zen' category and zen may or may not also be considered minimalist. I feel that your photo is borderline minimalist. Best way to find out...join the club on Facebook and submit your photo. They ONLY accept photos considered by the group host experts to be minimalist! Probably only 30% of my work ever makes it. Either way it is a wonderful photo!

I'm not sure what minimalist is, but this is a stunning image! It seems to say quietness and solitude.

That's a beautiful image. At first, I thought the subject was centered a bit too far to the left, but when I moved my eyes to the right, they were instantly drawn to the boat and the arc of light. If you'd centered the subject, you'd have lost the impact and starkness.
