The first one (Sat 11/24) is of a male doing something besides perching or grabbing peanuts. He was getting a drink from the bird bath. I missed the mid air water drops flying from his beak when he pulled his head back up and since I was using flash I had to do single shots - on burst I would have gotten some flying drops as he dipped and drank.
The second (Sun 11/25) is of a male and female on the old swing set getting ready to go snatch some peanuts. The focus seems to be on the females back so most of the male and part of the female are not in sharpest focus.
Both shots:
80D, Tamron 150-600 G2 @ 600, 1/250 @ f/8.0, ISO 400 at about 50 feet using a tripod and flash.

I like these also Robert. Very nice ones.
Very nice images, Robert.
Good shots, Jerry! They're sooo cute!
That first shot is a beauty Jerry. I just subscribed to this section and this is my first post. I just ordered a new Nikkor 60mm f2.8 Macro lens and can't wait to take it out for a spin. It will be my first Prime lens too.
