It's the lens before they put out the named series. Zf.2 refers to the Nikon version of the lens. It is a magnificent instrument.

I'm selling because I'm downsizing to Fujifilm and I have their equivalent lens. The 200-500 also has a B+W CPL 95mm for another $100 (OBO).

I bought this lens about a year ago, I believe from B&H. It has been stored both on a tripod and in a case indoors under AC. There are no imperfections that I am aware of. The glass is perfect. I don't think there are even dings on the barrel.
You will enjoy this lens if you have Nikon equipment.
